This post is for all of the webmasters out there. It is now possible to add your own private switchboard to your website using the new Switchboard Accounts site: http://theswitchboard.ca/accounts
You simple sign up, add a new site, and then put a bit of javascript on your website. You now have a system identical to the one on theswitchboard.ca, but seperate and only for the use of your website.
This would be great for customer service, or any community web site.
Just received the newsletter about the integration option. My friend and I operate a website in Hungary where we would like to use the switchboard and wondering if it would be possible to internationalize the program so that our users could use it in Hungarian or even switch between languages? Do you think this is possible at some stage? Is there a language file that we could translate to Hungarian?
Definitely. We are in the process of translating into French, and German right now. We should have the language file separated out soon, and if we could get a Hungarian translation as well, that would be great. I let you know when I can get it over to you, probably within this month.
