Login failed.
Unfortunately you've bumped up against one of the few conditions when the switchboard can't connect. You seem to be on a corporate network that is using Microsoft ISA Server as a proxy server. The switchboard can tunnel through most proxy servers, but not the Microsoft ISA Server.
I am going to attempt a quick fix and then I would appreciate it if you could test it for me and report your results. I'll contact you, via the email address you used when you registered on this forum, when I'm ready for you to test.
So, the fix we put in has made it work in your corporate, ISA proxy server environment? If you could confirm that it would be great.
With regards to hearing yourself, is the person you are trying to call using speakers, or headphones? If they are using speakers the sound of your voice will feedback into their microphone and be transmitted back to you.
Another thing to check is that you have your microphone sound muted. On Windows if the microphone is not muted the sound captured by the microphone is fed directly to the speaker output, and you will hear yourself.
